Do you make everything yourself?

Yes. Absolutely no imports or re-sales. I sew everything myself.

Are your products machine washable?

Yes, everything I make is machine washable and dryable, with a cold-water wash cycle recommended. I pre-wash and dry all of the fabric I use, so it should look exactly the same before and after the product is washed. Should I ever use a fabric that is NOT machine washable, I will specify that in the item description.

Can I use my own fabric?

Yes, most definitely, provided it is suitable for the product you want. You are responsible for shipping fees on any fabric you send to me. Please email me first to verify yardage and the suitability of the fabric weight for the item you want.

Do you use 100% cotton fabric?

For the most part, yes. I do use a polyester batting for those products that are padded. Occasionally, I may use a poly-cotton blend. All my seam binding is a poly-cotton blend.

Do you take custom orders?

Most definitely. If it is something very unusual and / or requires me to make a pattern for it, it will take longer to produce the finished product. For products that need measurements, please be very careful to measure accurately (at least twice, following my specifications) as I do not accept returns on custom orders.

What is your shipping policy?

If an item is in stock, it will be mailed within five business days of your order. Please allow four weeks or longer for delivery of all other orders. If I am out of town or ill, a notice will be posted on the website. If there is any other reason why I cannot complete your order on time, I will contact you personally. If you are near Fallston, MD, or plan to attend one of my shows, you may arrange to pick up your products instead of having them shipped. However, you MUST contact me to make arrangements prior to placing the order. I generally use USPS for shipping.

What is your return policy?

No returns on custom orders. For all other products, the item(s) must be returned unused and in its original condition within 30 days of receipt. You must contact me first to authorize the return. The buyer is responsible for return shipping fees.

Is there sales tax?

Only for MD residents (6%).
